About Us

Thanks for checking out our website!

We know that there are a lot of amazing churches in Eugene and you might be wondering, “which one is best for me?” The truth is, there are many churches that could be a great fit for you or your family.

HERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT BE ASKING:

Is this church near me? Does this church teach the Bible? Will my family fit in will? What is a worship service like? And what about outside of Sundays?

Serving Lane County

Our Sunday worship gatherings happen in North Eugene at the Youth for Christ building on Crescent Avenue. Although we are a church in North Eugene, our members come from all corners of Eugene and Springfield, and some even come from Brownsville to be a part of our community.

Our church is made up of a diverse group of folks from all around Lane County and we would love to have you join us.

Biblical Preaching

At Grace City Eugene, we believe that the Holy Spirit has preserved the Scriptures for nearly two-thousand years because it is the inherent Word of God for His people. The Bible is an authoritative text that is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness and is a tool that equips believers to know the truth and demonstrate it with their lives (2 Tim. 3:16-17). Our sermons and online resources are biblically-based and will always reference the Scriptures for support and guidance. We do not avoid tough topics or passages but desire to seek out the truth so that our hearts and minds can come in line with God’s.

Multi-Generational Community

Many churches can be defined by a certain demographic they are known to reach. For example, every town has their college church or young families church. We are proud to be a community that is difficult to define. We have young families, some who are advanced in age, and young adults - both married and single. The church is supposed to be a body made of many different parts, and we have been blessed with a diverse crew of members who love God and love Eugene together.

Worship Gatherings

Our services start online and in-person at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings. We are a relatively casual bunch as most of our attendees will be wearing jeans and a sweatshirt. Do not feel the need to overdress, but also don’t be afraid to dress it up if that’s your style.

Our typical service goes something like this:

  • 2 Worship Songs Open

  • Giving of Tithes & Offerings (Not asked of guests)

  • Announcements

  • Sermon (35-45 minutes)

  • 3 Worship Songs to Close

Our gatherings typically run between 75-90 minutes long.

Outside of Sundays

We believe that church is meant to be more than just Sundays! We are excited to offer Life Groups, community service initiatives, outreach opportunities, and monthly events.
