LORDSHIP

Jesus is referred to as Lord 100 times in the book of Acts and 622 times in the whole New Testament. The biblical emphasis is overwhelmingly on the concept of Lordship. Lord means master, the one who calls the shots, the one who makes the decisions. Submitting to Christ as Lord is not about following a set of religious rules and traditions. Rather, Lordship begins as an internal submission of the heart. If it is genuine, it will eventually manifest itself in outward obedience. We believe that whole-hearted submission to God’s will and His Word is the starting point of the Christian faith and the foundation of all spiritual growth.

EVANGELISM

Because God’s heart is to reach the lost, we’re passionate about preaching the Gospel and doing ministry in a way that engages people outside the Christian faith. The message of salvation is meant to be shared with everyone in every nation. Jesus wants us to share this message - that is, to share the gospel - with our words and our deeds. The good news is that God himself has empowered us to be his representatives: “Surely, I am with you always.”

DISCIPLESHIP

We are called to be disciples and to make disciples. To be a disciple is to follow Jesus, reach the lost, and engage in this process with other believers. Our primary focus is establishing Biblical foundations, equipping believers to minister, and empowering disciples to make disciples – not conducting meetings, facilitating programs, or building buildings. We make disciples as we introduce people to Jesus and teach them how to obey God’s commands.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

We are committed to a culture of empowering leaders. We deliberately create opportunities and platforms to develop the next generation of leaders. We believe that inside of each person are strengths that bless the world around them. Our leadership development platforms seek to draw out the gifts that God has given each individual as they glorify Him through the practice of those strengths.

FAMILY

Because the family is the foundation and validation of ministry, we refuse to sacrifice our marriages and our children on the altars of temporal success. And because we believe God has called us to be a spiritual family, we embrace community, reject the idea of disposable relationships, and choose to walk in love, respect, and unity.

STATEMENT OF FAITH:

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe there is one eternal, almighty, and perfect God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of death.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
