Best Rainy Day Activities in the Eugene
Fall is here, which means rain and “bleh” weather. Our own Elisa Morin has put together a great list of five activities for you on a rainy day in the Eugene Area.
01. 5th Street Public Market
If it's a rainy day and you want to walk around and not get wet... Then 5th Street Public Market is the perfect environment for you. It’s covered, strung with lights, multiple shops, restaurants and music which is perfect for the cozy weather. It has quality local food, ambiance, variety and good prices. It is a historic marketplace which includes open air courtyards, soothing fountains and fun events throughout the year to make it the perfect place to gather in any season. You’ll find this gem at 296 E 5th Ave Eugene and is open everyday from 11am-9pm.
02. Round1 Bowling & Amusement
Looking for fun during the terrible weather all under one roof? Then check out Round1 Bowling and Amusement. You can look forward to family fun or friendly competition with activities ranging from bowling, arcade games, billiards, karaoke, ping pong and darts. Round1 also offers a variety of favorite snack foods such as pizza, wings, ice cream and a fully-stocked bar. Come in and enjoy the night... rain free! Round1 is located at 600 Valley River Center #101 Eugene and is open everyday 10am-2am.
03. Emerald Lanes
Emerald Lanes is the next place to be on any rainy day. Located at 140 Oakway Rd Eugene and open everyday from 10am-10pm except for Friday and Saturday they are open till 11pm this is a great spot to hang and toss a ball towards some pins! They have clean lanes, friendly staff, great food and music. Come check out the Emeralds Lanes and have a blast!
04. Cinemark 17
Want to relax and watch a movie during the rainy season? Well, Cinemark 17 has every other movie theater beat here in town! This theater complex has multiple screens, all-stadium recliner seats, tasty popcorn, short lines, self-serve kiosks and roomy seating. Upgrade your movie experience and stay warm at Cinemark 17 located at 2900 Gateway St. Springfield.
05. PublicHouse
PublicHouse is last but not least here for the top 5 things to do in Eugene. It has multiple food options inside a restored church and it is the place to be here in Eugene. You can enjoy multiple different foods such as German, Hawaiian, Italian, Indian, and more diverse cuisine. They also have Trivia Nights here as well so don’t forget to invite your friends. Public House is located at 418 A St #4606 Springfield and is open 11am-10pm every day except Friday and Saturday they are open until 11pm.
